Superintendent Tom Livezey - 2025-26 Board President of Michigan Association of Superintendents

The Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators (MASA) is proud to announce that Oakridge Public Schools Superintendent Tom Livezey will serve as the Association’s 2025-26 Board President. Livezey was officially presented with the President’s gavel by MASA Executive Director Dr. Tina Kerr and Past President Katy Xenakis Makowski, Superintendent of Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools, during a brief ceremony at Wednesday’s Oakridge Board of Education meeting. 

Cary Harger

Cary Harger, a 2025 retiree educator from Oakridge Public Schools discusses his journey from being a student at Oakridge to becoming a teacher and mentor. Cary shares insights on navigating college, financial challenges, and the importance of influential figures in education (Coach Schugars, Coach Swinburne, Mr. Goodrich, and Mrs. Walling. 

Kassi Hanchera

Kassi Hanchera, a content creator for the City of Muskegon and Oakridge 2009 graduate shares her journey from doodling on her math assignment in Mr. Danicek's classroom in high school to her current role, discussing the challenges she faced, the influential figures in her life, and the importance of networking and education.
